Annie is a birth and postpartum doula who got her start in the birth world after working with families as a newborn nanny. She has always been captivated by her love for little ones and fascination with the the body's ability to grow and birth a whole person, so doula work was a natural fit!
Annie believes in lifelong learning, and enjoys growing her knowledge by reading, listening to podcasts, and attending workshops. She also has training as a Newborn Care Specialist, and on the topic of newborn sleep from birth to six months.
Currently, Annie is completing her 200-hr yoga teacher training, and plans to bring prenatal yoga to her practice with clients in the near future.
For Annie, birth is a metaphor for life, and she loves supporting families to find and harness their own unique way of navigating labor, birth, and baby-life.

"I have nothing but amazing things to say about Annie and our experience with hiring her. I am SO glad I did especially since it was my first pregnancy. I learned more from her and our meetings than my actual OB. I felt educated and prepared to go into labor when the time came. You can tell Annie has a passion about birthing people and advocating for them.
She is also focused on helping and educating the birthing persons partner. Annie helped my husband have a better understanding about pregnancy and birth which helped us have a better relationship through out my pregnancy. We both were on the same page when it came time to go to the hospital. It was super helpful.
Highly recommend her even if it’s not your first pregnancy! She exceeded our expectations for sure!"
